Thank you for your web and the link to the online research diary information. After reading the article last week on research diaries, it is definitely something I am interested in trying. I teach the new CLC 12 course next year and it may be a way for both me to record what is working and what is not, where I want to go with the course, and student development of their Capstone Projects. It would also be a great reflective tool for students as they work on their Capstone project throughout the year. Looking forward to learning more about research diaries and other methods of qualitative research. Thank you for your online info!

      Hello
Thanks for your comments. I was thinking about my own teaching practice and I often reflect and write anecdotal notes about various units and lessons, which definitely informs future practice. We may not realize that we are often using these ourselves to reflect on what is working and what isn’t and think about what changes we could make the next time around. I would like to incorporate these into my research projects with students to reflect on their learning processes, especially with project based research.
